Dance Recital -
Friday, May 30th @ 6:30pm

Combo I: Ages 3-4. Combination of ballet, tap and tumbling
Dress requirements: Fitted dance clothing: leotard and
tights for girls and fitted t-shirts and pants for boys. Hair should be
pulled back. Black tap shoes, pink leather ballet slippers for girls and
black leather ballet shoes for boys.
Combo II: Ages 5-6. Combination of ballet, tap and tumbling
Dress requirements: Fitted dance clothing: leotard
and tights for girls and fitted t-shirts and pants for boys. Hair should
be pulled back. Black tap shoes, pink leather ballet slippers for girls
and black leather ballet shoes for boys.
Beginning Ballet: Ages 5-10. Class
ical ballet techniques. A variety of contemporary and classical ballet
choreography.
Dress requirements: Fitted dance clothing: leotard and tights for girls and fitted t-shirts and pants for boys. Hair should be pulled back. Black tap shoes, pink leather ballet slippers for girls and black leather ballet shoes for boys.
Jazz/Hip Hop: Ages 7-10. Hop and pop to modern music with classical progressions and turns. Focus on flexibility and endurance.
Dress requirements: Fitted dance clothing: leotard and tights for girls and fitted t-shirts and pants for boys. Hair should be pulled back.
Black leather jazz shoes.

Dance Lessons - Instructors
Allison Price
Allison started dance training when she was 3 at the Worley Ellis Studio
in Wilcox, AZ. She continued training at both facilities until age 14 when
she moved to the Phoenix Valley where she trained at DancEnergy for 5 more
years. She was also a member of their competition company for 4 years.
She began teaching in 2004 all types of dance including tap, ballet and
jazz. In 2006, Allison joined the staff at SWIMkids USA and is pursuing
her degree in Speech Therapy from Mesa Community College.
Shana Edmondson
Shana began teaching dance and acrobatics in 1984 at the age of 14. She
has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts-Dance in 1997 from the
University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point. She spent 10 years at Debbie’s
Dance Studio in Schofield, WI then another 5 years teaching at Judy
Peterson Dance Studio in Wausau, WI. She has choreographed several
musicals and plays in Wisconsin and Arizona including Oliver,
Olympus on My Mind, and By
George: Gershwin & Review.
Her experience in Arizona includes teaching at the Mesa Arts Center, C&S Dance Center, Westwood High School, and Master classes at various local studios.
Marissa Johnson
Marissa has a background in competitive cheerleading. She has worked with
children for two years and enjoys their enthusiasm. She attends
Aesthetician School and will later study child psychology.
